A new Fiat Croma would be the dream of many drivers in Italy and beyond. The truth is that the return of such a model to the lineup of the leading Italian automotive company is very difficult, if not impossible. Currently, the goals of the Turin-based Stellantis brand are different, as they launched the new Fiat Topolino and 600 in 2023, followed by the debut of the new Fiat Panda, most likely on July 11, 2024, which coincides with Fiat’s 125th-anniversary celebration.
Here’s what the new Fiat Croma could look like
Following that, a new Fiat Multipla will also arrive, a C-segment crossover that will be approximately 4.3 meters long. This is likely to become Fiat‘s future flagship, although some also speculate about a Fiat 500XL. For now, these are just rumors. It seems almost impossible to find space for a new Fiat Croma, given the words of Fiat’s CEO, who has explicitly stated that the company will focus on compact cars in the coming years.
Nevertheless, enthusiasts are not giving up on their dreams. On the internet, there is growing speculation about a new Fiat Croma or a vehicle that could be considered its direct successor. This is the case with digital creator Salvatore Lepore, who has created a render called the Fiat Cento31, envisioning a future large and highly technological Fiat sedan coupe where the level of driving comfort would be significantly superior to the rest of the Italian brand’s range.
It’s undoubtedly an interesting project, but unfortunately, it’s unlikely to materialize in reality, given that, as mentioned earlier, Fiat’s plans differ. We will see if things change in the future, and if the rise of electric mobility creates conditions for the appearance of such vehicles on the road bearing Fiat’s logo.
