Fiat is preparing to launch the new Fiat Panda, an affordable electric vehicle designed for urban mobility. The new Panda will be the first car from Fiat based on Stellantis’ Smart Car platform, which enables various electric propulsion solutions. This architecture is an evolution of the widely used CMP/eCMP platform designed for low-cost models. These same platforms are used on vehicles such as the brand-new 2024 Citroen e-C3, giving us a preview of what to expect from the new Fiat Panda.

The new Panda will be available in two electric versions: one with a range of 320 km, expected to start at just under 24,000 euros, and another with a 200 km range, costing less than 20,000 euros. The new Fiat Panda aims to be an agile and dynamic vehicle, with a length of approximately 4 meters and a style that partly resembles the recent Citroen e-C3 and partly the concept car Fiat Centoventi.

The new Fiat Panda will be produced in Europe, likely in Italy, and despite this, its goal is to challenge Chinese electric vehicles in terms of pricing. Fiat‘s CEO, Olivier Francois, has openly expressed the company’s intention to “make life difficult” for competitors producing electric vehicles in China by offering an affordable urban electric vehicle accessible to a broad audience.

Regarding the new Fiat Panda, here we show a render created by the Carscoops website, which displays what the exterior of this future Fiat model might look like. It’s expected to be unveiled on July 11, 2024, which coincides with the 125th anniversary of the leading Italian automaker. We will see what else emerges in the coming days regarding this highly anticipated model set to change the perception of electric cars among European drivers.
