Jeep Avenger won the prestigious Auto Europa 2024 award, awarded by Uiga to cars produced and marketed in Europe. This is the first time the American brand has won this recognition, which has been in existence since 1987. The Avenger beat out six other finalists, including the Audi Q8 e-tron and the BMW 5 Series.

Jeep Avenger wins another award: the compact SUV from the American company receives the Auto Europa 2024 award

Jeep Avenger

The Jeep Avenger is the brand’s first electric model, as well as the first designed in Europe. It is a compact SUV, just over 4 meters long, offering a power of 156 hp and a range of about 400 km with a 54 kWh battery. The Avenger is also available with a 101 hp petrol engine, but only in Italy and Spain.

The Auto Europa 2024 award was given by the Uiga jury, composed of over 150 specialized journalists, who evaluated the cars based on criteria such as technological innovation, design, performance, safety, comfort, and value for money. The Avenger received the most votes, followed by the Peugeot 408 and the Fiat 600e.

Jeep Avenger has also received other international accolades, including the Car of the Year 2023, awarded in January at the Brussels Motor Show. The model has enjoyed great success with both the public and critics, thanks to its distinctive style, versatility, and environmental sustainability. The Jeep Avenger will be available for sale in Europe from the first quarter of 2024, with a starting price of around 35,000 euros. The model will be accompanied by an all-wheel-drive version, which will arrive later in the year and will have an additional electric motor at the rear. The Avenger will be the first step in Jeep’s electrification strategy, which also includes the launch of other models such as the Jeep Recon and Grand Wagoneer S.
