The new Alfa Romeo Giulietta is one of the most anticipated models among Italian brand enthusiasts, especially since the CEO of the Biscione has not ruled out its return in a recent interview. However, it should be reiterated that there are no official confirmations of its arrival at the moment. Nevertheless, some designers have attempted to imagine what the new generation of the compact sports car could be like creating some interesting renders.
The return of the new Alfa Romeo Giulietta to the spotlight follows the recent interview of the CEO, who does not exclude the return of a compact sedan
One of these projects is by Kleber Silva [KDesign AG], who has posted on Instagram some images of a possible new Alfa Romeo Giulietta. The render is based on the style of the new Alfa Romeo Tonale, the SUV launched in 2022. The new version of Giulietta incorporates some distinctive elements of the Tonale, such as the shield grille, LED headlights, side air intakes, and the sloping roof. The hypothetical future car of the Biscione, however, differs in terms of smaller dimensions, sleeker lines, and a shorter rear end.
The new Alfa Romeo Giulietta, which some believe could also be called “Alfetta”, will be a sedan just under 4.5 meters long and will be built on the STLA Medium platform. So, it won’t be solely electric, and the range would go up to 700 km. The car would almost certainly have a high-performance Quadrifoglio top-of-the-line version.
The new Alfa Romeo Giulietta could be one of the future surprises regarding the Biscione’s automotive lineup. Its arrival, however, assuming it happens, won’t be before 2028. Firstly, Alfa Romeo will need to launch other models, starting with the compact SUV expected next year, whose official name will be revealed in December. Then, two models in segment D will also arrive, namely the successors to Giulia and Stelvio, and two segment E models: a coupe sedan and a large SUV. These last two models will have the task of conquering the United States and China. We’ll see if there is room for a new Alfa Romeo Giulietta.
