Lancia Gamma is the chosen name for the upcoming future model of the Italian company, whose debut has been officially confirmed for 2026. The production will take place in Italy at the Stellantis plant in Melfi, where the car will be produced on the STLA Medium platform alongside four other models: two DS Automobiles, the successor to the Jeep Compass, and the new Opel Manta.
New Lancia Gamma: of the three future cars of the brand, it will be the one closest in style to the Lancia Pu+Ra concept
Regarding the new Lancia Gamma, in recent days, new clues have emerged about what this vehicle will be like when it finally arrives on the market in the coming years. It seems that among the three cars arriving in the Lancia lineup in the coming years, it will be the one closest in style to the Lancia Pu+Ra HPE concept car shown by the Italian company in April during the Milan Design Week.
The car has been described by Luca Napolitano as a nearly 4.7-meter-long fastback with an innovative and modern style. Therefore, the new Lancia Gamma is getting ready to amaze when it is finally unveiled, becoming one of the cornerstone models in the renewed lineup of the Italian automobile company, which will unveil the new Lancia Ypsilon in 2024 and complete its lineup with the arrival of the new Lancia Delta in 2028.
The new Lancia Gamma, shown here in a render by Ascariss Design, will have an estimated range of about 700 km. Aesthetically, this car will not be a classic sedan but rather a kind of large coupe with easier access to the trunk. From the prototype presented some time ago, the new Lancia should also take inspiration for its interiors. One should not expect particularly unique seats, but the ambition is to create a living room on wheels. Comfort and attention to detail at the highest levels, as required by its membership in the Stellantis premium universe, alongside DS and Alfa Romeo. We will see what other news emerges about the future of Lancia.
