Prioritizing capacity, safety, and versatility to meet the needs of businesses and professionals, Stellantis unveiled a comprehensive range of compact, medium, and large cargo vans. Stellantis unveils comprehensive redesign of its entire van lineup under Pro One initiative
Stellantis and its brands leverage a full range of advanced electrified propulsion technologies, safety features, ADAS, and connectivity to provide a stress-free environment and become the partner of choice for these professional fleet operators.
The brand is now an undisputed leader in zero-emission propulsion in commercial vehicles, offering both BEV and fuel cell solutions. The renewed commercial vehicle lineup includes 2nd generation zero-emission technologies, as well as in-house developed battery systems for electric vehicles, ensuring extended range without compromising capacity.
The 2nd generation BEV propulsion offers the new compact vans the best range in their class, reaching 330 kilometers (205 miles). In the new medium-sized BEV vans, battery packs provide 50 or 75 kilowatt-hours (kWh) of energy and up to 350 kilometers of range. In the large van segment, a 110 kWh battery pack offers the best electric range in the category, up to 420 kilometers. Additionally, rapid charging at 150 kW enables the large van’s battery to go from 0 to 80% charge in under an hour.
These enhancements also strengthen Stellantis’s leadership in zero-emission hydrogen fuel cell propulsion. A 2nd generation hydrogen fuel cell in medium-sized vans, scheduled for launch in mid-2024, adopts a unique Stellantis medium-power system and offers a range of up to 400 kilometers, a category record. Hydrogen fuel cell propulsion will expand in 2024 to large vans with a medium-power architecture, providing a range of up to 500 kilometers and a five-minute refueling time.
Wireless connectivity, activated upon vehicle delivery, allows drivers to stay informed, and fleet managers to remain connected to their fleets in real-time. It enables the delivery of cost-effective services such as preventive maintenance, eco-drive coaching, consideration of electric vehicle charging stations, and charge management. Over-the-air updates allow vehicles to evolve with their users.
The Ram brand’s commercial vehicle lineup will be renewed in North America with new electrified vans and pickups, including the Ram ProMaster EV by the end of 2023 and the Ram 1500 REV by the end of 2024. The future portfolio includes hydrogen fuel cell technology. Details will be released soon.
