The factory exports 48 percent of its production to France, 12 percent to Italy, and also to Spain. Stellantis Kenitra currently employs 3,540 people, and this number is expected to increase by 2,000 with the expansion of capacity. Regarding local sourcing, Stellantis relies on 67 suppliers, amounting to 2.3 billion euros in 2022. It’s worth noting that following the recent introduction of the new Fiat Topolino, which was unveiled on July 4th, it’s expected that a new model will be introduced by the end of 2025.

This new model will be a C-segment crossover, which, according to rumors, will be part of the new Fiat family set to debut with the new Fiat Panda in 2024 and could be the new Fiat Multipla. This car will replace two models currently in the Fiat lineup: Fiat 500X, which will cease production in 2024, and Fiat Tipo, which will exit the stage by the end of 2025. With the introduction of this model, the Stellantis plant in Kenitra, Morocco, will further increase its production, solidifying its position as one of the most important manufacturing sites within the automotive group resulting from the merger of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles and PSA Groupe. We’ll be watching for the new developments coming from this factory in the coming months.
